APPLY FOR OCS - US Navy Hosting
When I began applying to Navy OCS last year, the first person I talked to was an enlisted recruiter, because his office was right down the street and I thought he might have the contact info for the nearest officer recruiter. He immediately tried to persuade me to go enlisted instead of officer, even though I was a college graduate with degrees in physics and math with a pretty high GPA. He tried to tell me that OCS was too competitive and that I could go in as an E-3 Nuc with my background. He also tried to tell me that being an officer sucked

Officer Training Command, Home of Navy OCS - Apply
I understand that the age limit for applying to Navy OCS is 35, so I'm not technically too old. But what are the chances that I would be selected?! I should be able to get some good recommendations, and I'm in pretty good physical shape. I'm interested in information warfare because I like computers, I have some programming skills, and I think that experience will set me up for a great career afterwards, because cybersecurity issues aren't going away.
